Sue Aretta Hooker Rutkowski

Sue Aretta Hooker Rutkowski (Sue Bait), age 88, of Celina, Ohio, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, after a short illness. A former Williamsfield, Ohio, and Cleveland, Ohio, resident, Mrs. Rutkowski had lived in Celina for the past year. She was born February 22, 1917, in Clarksburg, WV, to Brack and May (Rollins) Hooker. Mrs. Rutkowski was a housewife, and she also did factory work, cleaning, and home health care for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Mrs. Rutkowski was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph S. Rutkowski; daughter, Patricia Gainer Martz; two step sons, Corkey and Jerry Rutkowski; brother, Archie Lee Hooker; and sister, Bessie Urdel. Survivors include: her daughter, Betty Jones Staats of Andover, OH; two sons, Dennis Walters Rutkowski and Emil Robert Rutkowski, both of Cleveland, OH; a brother, Eugene Hooker of Cleveland, OH; 5 grandchildren of Andover, OH, Joseph Jones, Rick Staats, Shawn Staats, Janice Staats DiBell, and Donna McCullah Cole, and 6 Martz family grandchildren of California; and 25 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. A memorial luncheon will be held following the cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, July 8, 2005, from 4p.m. to 8p.m. at the funeral home.
