SYBIL J. CASTLE, age 68, of Espyville, PA, died Friday, September 12, 2008, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA, after several battles with cancer. She was born May 7, 1940, in Coalburg, WV, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Bertha M. (McKinney) Housh. Formerly of Cleveland, Mrs. Castle had lived in Espyville, Pennsylvania for the past ten years. She was employed by Mailwell Envelopes in Brooklyn, OH for several years and was a former member of the Cooley Ave. Church of God, where she loved to do the weekly message boards. She currently was a member of the Conneaut Church of God, where she was a member of the prayer group. Mrs. Castle enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, playing cards, and having her family around her. Her daughters felt she was a loving, supportive mother who was always so much fun. Mrs. Castle is survived by her husband, William E. Castle, whom she married May 25, 1957, of Espyville; her two daughters, Patricia (Tom) Egan of Cleveland, and Debra (David) Lawyer of Painesville, OH; two sisters, Rosa (Gerald) Stump of Granger, IN, and Patricia Housh of West Virginia; one brother, James (Linda) Housh of Elkhart, IN; seven grandchildren, Dana, Amanda (Brian), Maureen, Meagan (George), Melissa (Jason), Bridget, and Michael; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Samuel, Douglas, and William Housh; and one sister, Carol Housh. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Conneaut Church of God, 5357 St. Rt. 7, Bushnell, OH. Burial will follow in Kelloggsville Cemetery.
