Terry L. Hoback

Andover, Ohio - Terry Lynn Hoback, age 59, died at his home on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1964, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the middle triplet of Lois Henretta (Rheil) and Floyd Hoback. Terry was a 1982 graduate of Harbor High School in Ashtabula. 

On September 17, 2011, he married Tina Marie Brent. He worked in construction and as a foreman for the former Wek Industries of Jefferson, Ohio, until his accident in 2001. Terry was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Ashtabula. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Number 4035 of Andover, Ohio, and he served on the Holiday Camplands Volunteer Safety Force.

Terry enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing bingo. He liked playing basketball with his son and coaching his peewee baseball team. Terry loved his frequent Texas Holdem card games and riding around the camp lands with his dog Cinna-man.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Howard Hoback. Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Tina of Andover, Ohio; son, John I. (Abriel Rood) Chalfant of Andover, Ohio; triplet brothers, Barry (Roberta) Hoback of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and Jerry (Ruth) Hoback of Andover, Ohio; four other siblings, Patricia (Edward) Swanson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bradley Hoback of California, Pamela (Jim) Stockton of North Carolina, and Brian (Lisa) Hoback of Washington; grandson, Robert; and many nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, 44003.
