Theodore F. "Ted" Hockran

Andover, Ohio - Theodore F. Hockran, age 65, died on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his residence. He was born on June 6, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank Theodore Hockran and Elizabeth T. (Jerdonek) Hockran. A lifelong Andover resident Mr. Hockran graduated from Andover High School in 1959. Mr. Hockran was a produce farmer, retiring in 1999, as well as owning and operating Ted's Fur Post. He enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, fishing, playing poker and spending time with his grandsons. Mr. Hockran was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. On June 14, 1969 he married Mary J. Bush. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Hockran. Survivors include his wife of thirty seven years, Mary J. Hockran of Andover; two sons, Matthew T. (Tracy) Hockran of Andover, Paul A. (Rosemary) Hockran of Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Beth M. Hockran of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, BJ and Luke Hockran; a brother, Thomas (Fran) Hockran of Bemus Point, New York; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Deimling of Andover, Helen (Steve) Carman of Selden, Kansas and many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 South Main Street, Andover, Ohio with Father Raymond Sutter officiating. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
