Thomas A. Bedlion

Thomas A. Bedlion, age 75, a beloved resident of Johnston township, passed away on February 29, 2024, at his home after a long journey with Parkinson’s disease. He was born on December 25, 1948, in Warren, OH, and was the son of the late Virgil J. Bedlion and Wanda H. (Philbrick) Bedlion. 
Mr. Bedlion was a 1966 graduate of Maplewood High School and a lifetime area resident.  He had a fulfilling career and was dedicated to his work at Packard Electric in Warren, OH for many years before retiring in 2007.  He found joy in hunting and cherished moments spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bedlion is survived by his loving wife whom he married March 9, 1968, Patty J. (Duncan) Bedlion of Johnston township; his children: Thomas V. Bedlion, Jeffrey A. (Tammy) Bedlion, and W. Nicole (Sam) Boyd, all of Johnston township; his nine grandchildren: Ashley (Nick), Kayla, Katie (Nate), Jared, Danielle (Dustin), Griffin (Alyssa), Ryan, Seth, and Wriley; as well as his six great-grandchildren: Brayden, Daisy, Carter, Braxton, Lilah, Remedie and baby Stella on her way.  He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Virgil E. Bedlion and Timothy L. Bedlion.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM followed by a brief ceremony at the Mecca Community Church Hall, 5920 Phillips Rice Rd.,Cortland, OH 44410, to celebrate and share memories of a life well lived.   All are welcome to then join for a light dinner reception immediately to follow.
