Thomas Lee Brown

Dorset, Ohio - Thomas Lee Brown, age 26, died on Sunday, September 13, 2015, in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was born on April 16, 1989 in Frankfort, Kentucky, the son of Rhonda Lynn (Mathews) and Michael Roy Brown. Thomas studied as a mason at Jefferson Vocational School, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2007. Employed for McCallister Concrete, Thomas worked with block, brick, stone and concrete. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His greatest joy was drawing and painting, it helped him find his focus. Thomas also loved animals and children. For the better part of six years, he was with the love of his young life Krista Marie Ryel of Ashtabula, Ohio. Through the good and bad, he always had a great fondness for her. He is preceded in death by two grandfathers. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Rhonda Brown of Dorset, Ohio; a sister, Randi L. Brown; grandmothers, Bonita Jo (Manes) Cika of Sneedville, Tennessee and Margery Faith (Hitchcock) Brown of Richmond, Ohio; three nieces; two nephews; and both of Thomas’s parents have six siblings there are many aunts, uncles and cousins. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice, or do a good deed for someone in need.
