THOMAS M. JOHNS, age 88, of Andover, Ohio, died Sunday, October 8, 2006, at Andover Village Retirement Community. He was born January 4, 1918, in Nelson, Kentucky, to William and Paulina (Smith) Johns. Mr. Johns was employed by Locke Machine in Andover for many years. He was an avid golfer, having hit a hole in one on holes #3 and #9 at the Andover Public Golf Course. He is survived by his sister, Marion Garrett of Michigan; and good friends, Terry and Ruby Mason of Andover. Arrangements are being handled by Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover, Ohio. There will be no calling hours or services.
