Tracy M. Austin

Champion, Ohio ��� Tracy M. Austin, age 39, of Champion, Ohio, died on Friday, January 14, 2011 after an extended illness. He was born on May 19, 1971, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Judith A. (Hunter) and Terry M. Austin. Tracy was a 1989 graduate of Maplewood High School, and achieved his Bachelor in Nursing from Otterbein University. He was a nurse for the former StarMed Traveling Nursing Company. He traveled to Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio and nursed in the states of North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Arizona, California, Connecticut, North Dakota and Tennessee. Tracy attended the Grace Fellowship Church of Niles, Ohio. He was a Boy Scout and achieved Eagle Scout. Tracy enjoyed going to Sea World, spending time on his computer, playing cards and different games, listening to music and playing with his cat. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith A. Austin; a sister, Joy M. Austin; and grandparents, Doris and Niles Austin and Marjorie and Lawrence Hunter. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Terry M. (Eleanor Knapp-Antonell) Austin of Champion, Ohio; a sister, April R. (Ben) Bell of Slidell, Louisiana, and their children, Bekki and Alex Bell; a step-grandmother, Betty Austin of Niles, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 2:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
