Vienna E. Siekkinen

Vienna E. Siekkinen, 93, of Warren, Ohio died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles,Ohio. She was born December 14, 1911 in Kinsman, Ohio to Matti E. and Amanda (Pekkarinen) Waris. She was a 1930 graduate of Wayne High School,and married Raymond Siekkinen on January 7,1939. A kind heart to everyone, Mrs. Siekkinen enjoyed baking, collecting glass slippers and bird figurines, and watching wildlife. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1980; three sisters, Ida Richardson, Hilda Niemeyer, and Ina Young; and two brothers, Edwin and William Waris. Mrs. Siekkinen is survived by many nieces and nephews. Private burial of cremated remains will be held at the convenience of the family in Kinsman Cemetery. No calling hours will be held. Arrangements were handled by Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, 1500 McKinely Ave., Niles, OH 44446.
