Andover, Ohio - Virginia Holtsclaw, age 67, died unexpectedly on June 27, 2007, due to complications following heart surgery. She was born on March 5, 1940 in Delbarton, West Virginia, to Rev. Harmon and Hessie (Messer) Hunt. Formerly of Aurora, Ohio, Virginia was an Andover area resident for the past fifteen years. Virginia enjoyed bowling and was on a mixed bowling league at Penn Line and at Rome. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling and gardening. She is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Harmon Hunt and her husband A.J. Holtsclaw whom she married on December 31, 1955, sharing her life for thirty-nine years. Survivors include her mother, Hessie Hunt of Delbarton, West Virginia; nine brothers and sisters, Wallace (Vesta) Hunt, Less (Polly) Hunt, Nancy (Dallas) Runyon, Alice (Luther) Workman, Bonnie (Edgar) Williams, Louella (Joe) Whitt, Myrtle (Larry) Smith, Harmon (Lois) Hunt and Lewis Hunt all of the Delbarton area; five daughters, Nancy (Jim) Black of Parkman, Ohio, Kathy (Jim) Sharar of Macedonia, Ohio, Cindy Kovacic of Orwell, Ohio, Carol Gintling of Dorset, Ohio, Doris (Martin) Dragich of Cherry Valley, Ohio; and a son, Gage Hunt of Seattle, Washington; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Peter Elencovf officiating. Burial will follow in Dorset Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, June 29th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
