Virginia M. O'Keefe

Virginia M. O'Keefe, age 93, of Espyville, PA, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home in Conneautville, PA. She was born November 24, 1918, in Turtle Creek, PA, a daughter of George and Rebecca (Heck) Chilcoat. A long time Espyville resident, Mrs. O'Keefe was a graduate of Union High School in Turtle Creek, PA. She was employed by Westinghouse Corp. and Neilis Dairy Store in Turtle Creek. She was a member of the Espyville United Methodist Church; and her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, quilting, fishing and hunting. Mrs. O'Keefe married Clarence J. O'Keefe on August 20, 1938; and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2002. Also preceding her in death are her parents; three brothers, Harold, Merle, and George Chilcoat; and one sister, Gladys Kessler. She is survived by her son, Robert D. O'Keefe of Espyville, PA; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Burial will follow in Espyville Cemetery.
