Wallace "Mac" Davis, 89 years old, of Kinsman, Ohio, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at St. Paul Homes Health Center in Greenville, PA. He was born on August 23, 1915, in Kinsman, Ohio, to the late Wallace B. Davis and the late Florence (McLean) Davis. A lifetime Kinsman resident, Mr. Davis was a 1933 Kinsman High School graduate. He attended Carleton College in Minnesota following high school. Mr. Davis owned and operated a dairy farm, "Walwood Farm", and was a member of the Holstein-Friesian Association. He was a member of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. He also was a member and past master of Gustavus Lodge #442 F & A M and was a member and past high priest of Kinsman Chapter #212 R.A.M. Mr. Davis served on the Kinsman Library Board; the Kinsman Zoning Board of Appeals; and the Trumbull County Fair Board. He hobbies included reading, playing cards, playing pool, and he was an avid baseball fan. Mr. Davis married Mabel (Schadt) on June 8, 1940. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Walter Davis. He is survived by his wife, Mabel S. Davis of Kinsman, OH; his son, Donald Davis of Kinsman, OH; his daughter, Mary Ellen (Wayne) Isaac of Wichita, KS; his daughter, Diane (Larry) Stevens of Williamsfield, OH; his granddaughters, Abbey and Jennifer Isaac of Wichita, KS. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at 12:00p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. A private burial will take place at a later date in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11:00a.m. until the time of service at Noon.
