Espyville, Pennsylvania - William E. Castle, age 73, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his daughter�s home, with his family by his side. He was born on December 22, 1937 in Kayford, West Virginia, the son of Vonda Marie (Gibson) and William Jackson Castle. Formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Castle has resided in Espyville for the past thirteen years. He worked for General Motors of Brook Park for over thirty years and retired in 1989. On May 25, 1957 he married Sybil J. Housh. Mr. Castle was a member of the Conneaut Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, flower gardening, watching westerns, having family holidays and cookouts and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Castle is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of fifty-one years, Sybil J. Castle; infant twin brother and sister; a sister, Cinda Proctor and a brother, Robert Castle. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia A. (Tom) Egan of Cleveland, Ohio and Debra L. (David) Lawyer of Painesville, Ohio; two sisters, Brenda (Ernie) Lucas of Cabin Creek, West Virginia and Renda (Robert) Phelps of East Sparta, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Dana, Amanda (Brian), Maureen, Meagan, Melissa (Jason), Bridget and Michael; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kelloggsville Cemetery in Monroe Township. Calling hours will be on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
