William H. Griswold

William H. Griswold, age 39, of Andover, Ohio, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover. He was born August 18, 1973, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Paul and Janet L. (Copeland) Griswold. A lifetime resident of Andover, William was employed by Ashcraft Industries in Kingsville, Ohio, for the past seventeen years. He was very active with the Special Olympics of Ashtabula County in cross country skiing, track, softball, and basketball. He was also active in fundraising for them. William enjoyed bowling, watching professional wrestling, playing his PlayStation 2, listening to music; and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his mother, Janet L. Griswold of Andover; his four brothers, Robert Cipra of Richmond township, OH, Richard Cipra of Williamsfield, OH, Russell Cipra of Andover, and Roger Cipra of Andover; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Griswold. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 6:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Cremation will follow services.
