William John Hicks

Meadville, Pennsylvania - William John Hicks, age 39, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, suddenly. He was born on August 4, 1969, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, to John Paul Hicks, Sr. and Sheila June (Shaw) Hicks. Formerly of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, "Billy" was a resident of Meadville, Pennsylvania for many years. Billy enjoyed taking walks, playing with rubber bands and rocking in his chair. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother of Jamestown, Pennsylvania; two half brothers, John Paul Hicks, Jr. of Geneva, Ohio, and Richard C. Hicks of Jefferson, Ohio; and a half sister, Rose Vittardi of Canfield, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. Robert Goodnough officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Cemetery, Jamestown, Pennsylvania. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
