William Michael Hodge

Wayne, Ohio - W. Michael Hodge, age 55, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on August 23, 1955 in Sistersville, West Virginia, the son of Doris Jeanette (Rockwell) and William Henry Hodge. Mike was a graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. A lifelong area resident, Mike was a self-employed truck driver. On March 26, 1983 he married Elaine M. Botz. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Matthew Hodge. Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Elaine M. Hodge of Wayne, Ohio; a son, Michael P. Hodge of Wayne, Ohio; two sisters, Judy (Ed) Probst of Paden City, West Virginia and Norma Jean Runion of Jefferson, Ohio; five brothers, Gary (Ann) Hodge of Denmark, Ohio, Richard Hodge of Pennsylvania, Roger (Rema) Hodge of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Stephen Hodge of Denmark, Ohio and R. Keith (Darlene) Hodge of Live Oak, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Noon, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Robert Gears officiating. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 11:00 am until the time of services.
