William S. "Bill" Shoenberger

William S. "Bill" Shoenberger, age 66, of Andover, Ohio, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, OH. He was born October 27, 1946, in Greenville, PA, a son of Harry and Catherine P. (Garrison) Shoenberger. A resident of Andover for the past 15 years, Bill was formerly of Denmark township, OH. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Navy. Bill was employed as a construction laborer for Local Union #245 & #310. He enjoyed many outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, trapping, and riding his four wheeler and motorcycle. He is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Childs) Shoenberger, whom he married March 5, 1966, of Andover; his three sons, Scott L. Shoenberger of Andover, Shawn E. Shoenberger of Jefferson, OH, and Billy Jo Shoenberger of Andover; his 7 Grandchildren, Ashley, Summer, Carson, Bentley, Savannah, Emilee, and Shawna; his 2 Great Grandchildren, Braxton and Shazia; his sister, Nancy Brainard of Conneaut, OH; and his brother, Charles (Sheryl) Shoenberger of Dorset, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Hunter Shoenberger; and his brother-in-law, Daniel Brainard. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 8:00 PM at the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene, 3410 St. Rt. 6, Andover, OH, with Rev. Richard Meier officiating. Cremation will follow services. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 16th from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
